Easy job on a td5 should be 2xplugs in the door pillar I had to replace this loom as the internal cables had nipped.

Thanks Wag that was the answer I was hoping for.
Do you know if I can pull the plugs through the grommet hole to disconnect or do I have to access from inside the footwell? |

You'll be able to gently work them free through the grommet hole. The plugs are to big to fit up the rubber flexi,so it will be a cutting and soldering game behind the door card if anything is brittle and nips but you are replacing the door so it shouldn't matter .

Connectors are just into the bulkhead below the A pillar if I remember rightly, or you can disconnect in the door there shouldn’t be any need to cut anything just work the rubber out of its seats on each side if you need to move it. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
