That’s normal. You will be able to see the software version once the first over the air update will be offered to your vehicle. I had the same issue. Dealer updated via cable before delivery, I wasn’t able to see the version for months, until the first 4.0.0 was deployed over the air. Since then no issue anymore.
Another member from DE said that his vehicle went from 4.0.0 directly to 4.1.1. Yes, I’m also based in DE and my Defender did the same. So no issue here too, because software improvements are usually deployed incrementally. That means, what was included in 4.0.0 and 4.1.0 is also included in 4.1.1. |

@whiterdesign: may i ask what does that mean: double-lock?
Do i have to push the lock button on the key twice? (serious question, never heard about it...) |

Snooki, I think it does depend on where the vehicle is sold , but in the UK and the States, pressing the lock button once locks the vehicle, but does not set the interior movement alarms and enables the vehicle to be opened from the inside. Used if animals or people are left in car. Pressing the lock button again within 3 seconds double locks it which sets the interior movement alarm and also disables the car from being opened from the inside. 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar
