Pivi Pro 4.1.1 update now available
Pivi Pro OS 4.1.1 Release Notes
Pivi Pro 4.1.1
OS Release 4.1.1 and 4.1.1_

With our continued drive to deliver improvements to your vehicle, this update brings enhancements to the following systems:

Wireless Device Charging:
Improved detection and adaption to phones resulting in the initiation of charging being less sensitive to device location. Updates to communication with Apple devices running the latest iOS releases.

Sound System:
General calibration & system volume refinements including a fix for an issue where the audio could be heard through an incorrect speaker channel.

ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System):
– Updates to remove noises from the brake system modulator (applicable to New Range Rover (L460) and New Range Rover Sport (L461 )).
– Improvement in Anti-Lock Brake system diagnostics.

Vehicles without Surround Cameras:
Added automatic display of the rear view when the vehicle rolls back plus other general performance improvements.

Powertrain:
PHEV Vehicles fitted with Belt Integrated Starters:
Resolved an issue that could result in a delayed engine start.

V8 Engine Defender:
Improvements to the oil monitoring systems.

Defender and Discovery 6-cylinder vehicles:
Resolved an issue where the 02 sensor could incorrectly result in the display of an engine warning light.

All other vehicles:
General powertrain refinements. MY23 D250 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE, Carpathian Grey, 7 Seat, Electric Towbar

No mention of an upgrade to the DAB so we can receive the new upgraded DAB transmissions from Classic FM………. My 71 Plate electric Mini Cooper S E updated on 1st Jan to receive the upgraded quality but my 2023 Defender now has no Classic FM on DAB at all despite much re-tuning/ searching to try and find it. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Tim, maybe the vehicle hasn't got the ability to receive DAB + (PLUS) ??? On Classic they were saying you need to buy a new radio, with '+' capability.

That’s a bind if it’s the case - Classic is my go to when R4 is on its 3rd or 4th repeat of some programs! The car supports DAB+ - it’s been around for years.

I’ve never used the DAB or FM functions on mine, but could you not stream Classic FM digitally via the built-in internet radio function? Assuming you have reliable 4G coverage of course.

My 2023 model has dab+. It shows as a green dab+ icon when on dab radio MY23 D250 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE, Carpathian Grey, 7 Seat, Electric Towbar

OK, problem solved. When I looked in the list of DAB stations available I found that of the 5 DAB stations I originally had tapped on as “favourites” ie had the brown star not the outline star only 1 (BBC R4) was still a brown star all the others had reverted to just being listed and no longer favourites. I don’t know why this happened as, as far as I can see, the car car hasn’t received any Pivi updates recently that might cause the favourites to all be lost except R4. At least on my driveway I can now get Classic FM in DAB+. Since the aforementioned update my Alexa app disappeared, and the vehicle is saying the account is unlinked. I have tried to link it via the vehicle but the email portion on the screen keeps saying to “try again”, and there is no QR code in that part of the screen. I have tried going at it via the Alexa app on my phone but that doesn’t work. The vehicle has been connected via the in car SIM and also via WIFI, but nothing works… any ideas?!?!? Current

I also received the update to 4.1.1 today.
Before that I had 4.0.0 which was installed in August last year.
4.1.0 was never offered as an update and now I'm wondering whether the new features of 4.1.0 are included in 4.1.1? 23.5MY Defender 110 D250 HSE

Just an update… still couldn’t log into Alexa via the QR code so resorted to a full rest of the Pivi Pro system… went through logging back in and it worked 🤷🏻‍♂️ Current

What am I doing wrong? Got my car in Oct 23 from main dealer (21 P400e SE X-DY), was serviced before I collected it, InControl connected, got the internal sim activated for hotspot, and it's connected to my phone for Carplay. (Not connected to house WiFi, does it need to be? ) but I cannot see what my current software is or update it. What do I need to do that I am not currently....? Thanks in advance you legends..!

Do you lock and set the alarm regularly?
Are all of your windows closed?
Can you connect to home wifi? (not required, but helpful)
Is your battery charged? On the P400 that's a big one it seems. Put a tender on it.

I think I get most of my downloads while driving and not parked. Every time I get an update alert it's been after a commute to work or home.
