I know not exactly Defender related, but can anyone shed some light on this.
Currently helping build up a 110 with V8 + 4HP22. Come across an issue with the LH gearbox mount - everyone says the manual one fits... it doesn't. This has shown up there appear to be two versions of the rear extension/output shaft case. Long extension: Click image to enlarge Short extension: Click image to enlarge Does anyone know if there is a difference, and why/what for? FWIW we've currently got the short version, and the manual mount doesn't fit (it's too wide). Concerned this'll cause issues with transfer box in the wrong place, props not fitting etc. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

All RRC, DI, D2 and Defender 4HP 22 Boxes are the same length so the longer extension must be for a P38
