United Kingdom 1999 Defender 110 Td5 SW Caledonian Blue
Took the 110 for a spin today, its not been moved for 2 weeks. First turn of the key and brum!
25miles run down the motorway all good.

Replaced the swollen wheel nuts with new ones that don't have the cover over the main nut.
I think I binned 6 or 8 swollen nuts. The ones that are good, are put away as spares. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Finally, gearbox oil change. In the rain and hail. The idea of using an electric oil pump normally works fine. This time it was PITA. Resorted to the manual method of 1 litre oil bottles with a flexi end.
A bit more messy but job done. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Modified my Cubby Box.

Added wireless charging, moved the cupholders clear of the gear stick(s). Missus recovered it with leather and personalised the lid.

Anyone else seen those cubby boxes with Marshall speaker unit in them? Thumbs Up

Yesterday, almost got stuck in a field (permission to be there*) but didn’t in the end. Very, very, slick and sticky mud out there right now after the freeze, and now wet.
Shall have to wait until it drys up and drains a bit or ideally freezes again, though more icy weather might be a long time yet.
It’s not worth chewing the ground up, it’ll only get worse and worse being so wet as it is.
An uphill hairpin bend on grass, mud, and slippy stones doesn’t help either, in fact it’s that part that is the pain, too slow and you won’t make it and too fast and you’ll go straight on instead. Whistle

Best avoided for now. Smile $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Another 12 months MOT on the 110, with just a couple of advisories. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Looks great, like the Harris Tweed effect Thumbs Up

Where did you get the under lid organiser? I'm looking for something similar. Craig.

I bought some sheet Velcro off eBay and got the missus to staple it on when she did the lid upholstery, and then after a little bit of research bought the Velcro-on tool holders from Amazon. My idea is that I can change or add to them if I want.
