Finally, gearbox oil change. In the rain and hail. The idea of using an electric oil pump normally works fine. This time it was PITA. Resorted to the manual method of 1 litre oil bottles with a flexi end.
A bit more messy but job done. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Anyone else seen those cubby boxes with Marshall speaker unit in them?
Yesterday, almost got stuck in a field (permission to be there*) but didn’t in the end. Very, very, slick and sticky mud out there right now after the freeze, and now wet. Shall have to wait until it drys up and drains a bit or ideally freezes again, though more icy weather might be a long time yet. It’s not worth chewing the ground up, it’ll only get worse and worse being so wet as it is. An uphill hairpin bend on grass, mud, and slippy stones doesn’t help either, in fact it’s that part that is the pain, too slow and you won’t make it and too fast and you’ll go straight on instead. Best avoided for now. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

Looks great, like the Harris Tweed effect Where did you get the under lid organiser? I'm looking for something similar. Craig. “Don't believe everything you read on the internet.” ― Abraham Lincoln www.scotgrc.co.uk |

I bought some sheet Velcro off eBay and got the missus to staple it on when she did the lid upholstery, and then after a little bit of research bought the Velcro-on tool holders from Amazon. My idea is that I can change or add to them if I want.
