I have front DRLs ...... and REAR DRLs whist driving. The rear DRLs are only the small twin lamps, but better than none at all.
This was a major mod I did a few months ago, a mod which involved cutting into the rear lamp clusters. ![]() Click image to enlarge the wire seen in the above photo is fed from a fused ignition live terminal in the rear fuse box. this suits my purpose. |

That's a nice modification, good work. Much safer than no rear lights

The easiest way to have your rear lights on during the day is just to turn the headlights on manually surely? Okay that puts the main headlights on as well but that’s not really an issue.
They won’t go off until you either turn them off, or put it back to auto. |

That would be a great 'how to' if you ever fancy writing it up. ![]() |

Yes l guess you are right, you can't have too much light if it makes you easier to see by other drivers. l just wondered if anything could be changed with GAP. |

![]() Click image to enlarge This is what the rear lights look like whilst driving in daylight. At night all 4 (each side) are illuminated. I do now have the circuitry to turn off these lamps (red) when indicating (amber) and restore to DRLs. I hope to have this mod completed soon. |
