Injector replacement bolt re torque?
Following an eventful injector change the Puma is running like a dream.

My only question is that when I fitted the injector clamps with new stretch bolts the torque setting plus 180 degrees seems really inadequate. Once everything has bedded in after fitting and heating up and cooling down a few times surely they will slacken slightly even if they are stretch bolts?

Has anyone re torqued them after a while running in?

ive not done mine , but I have looked at the instructions I have for the 2.2l engine.. it indicates the hold down bolt can be reused once, torqued to 6Nm and then a further 360deg, and fit a new sealing washer.. don't recall anything about re visiting after a period of time..

360 degrees would be a bit tighter at least 👍🏻 2010 2.4 TDCI Puma Defender 90

There is always a discussion if there is a difference between the 2.4l engine and the 2.2l engine.
The instructions say 360 degrees for the 2.2l but some say that its wrong in the instruction.

Anyway. I replaced the injectors on my 2.2l and 360 degrees worked fine.
