Year 2000 110 defender TD5 computer repair or replacement
Hello from New Zealand
My friend who brought my old truck (as above) has a problem with it
failed to start, taken to the independent place and tested, apparently error code for injectors not working etc
Mechanic used used spare computer and it started the car perfectly so its the ECU
When I had it we changed the computer to the later re flashable one (if thats the term)
Its code is NNN500250
of course there are no new parts and he had one place inspect the circuits etc for dry joints and no luck but they werent Land rover people.
I have a friend who is a Air New Zealand avonics guy who will examine it as well with their avonics gear.
looking around for a replacment one off a wreck at present etc
I see on the internet some places in the UK offering "repairs" as it as a common problem?
eg: https://www.ecutesting.com/common-faults/l...ecu-fault/

Has any one used a place like that or are there any people in the UK who might be able to help?
Thanks in advance This message was created using recycled letters from deleted emails.

I have used that company a few years ago to repair an ecu.
Service was good πŸ‘ β–€β–„β–€β–„β–€β–„ "𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 π’Žπ’‚π’•, π’˜π’Šπ’•π’‰ 𝒕𝒉𝒆 π’‘π’‚π’“π’•π’š 𝒉𝒂𝒕!" β–„β–€β–„β–€β–„β–€ 🀠

Just to balance it a little, and not an ECU, but I had my ABS modulator sorted by them and it’s been fine. Their customer service was excellent.
