but to maintain warranty you will need evidence that genuine parts /oil have been used. Ie an invoice demonstrating such with part numbers Clemmo Make today a little better than yesterday but not so good as tomorrow.... as above you can and may do so but lr will bleat like donkey about it and will 100% try to avoid any future warranty claims if you choose to go somewhere cheaper and better.....

Depends on how confident you are on future goodwill and reliability. BMW paid 95% of the bill for a new transfer box outside of warranty as it had a full BMW service history. |
