Defender subwoofer installation

I wanted to fit a sub but wanted to try something that looked like it may have been fitted from the factory.

It’s a wip but I think it looks ok.

Low profile subs fitted to a d2 sub housing.

Hi, that looks a very neat job you’ve done there, have you put any Dynamat on the internal door skin? If not I can highly recommend adding some, look forward to hearing your findings when it’s connected

Thanks Paul,

I’ve ordered some from eBay and some grey leather. I’m going to retrieve it all. Clean it up and spray the grille.

I planned on sealing up the rear door and then sealing the new door card to the door with foam stripping.

I didn’t get a chance to test it today as it’s been raining and I’ve ended up in the pub.

what is the diameter of the speakers why not choose just one but with a larger diameter?

Hope it sounds better than it does in a Discovery, Land Rover definitley needed more acoustic training back then!

Its the poorly designed enclosure even Alexa has more bass
