I don't have any information on the one for the commercial Defender but I do have one of these on my 110
https://huntersprestige.com/collections/in...age-insert Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge It makes better use of the 'wasted' hole that is down there normally Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Kielder 4x4 Safari Instagram @defender_v8 |

or PowerFul UK www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175247290740?fits=Plat_...R5Lx0_LcYg This item WILL fit the Land Rover Defender L663 110 models (but not hybrid models because of batteries) - this is untested with coil spring models. |

Click image to enlarge There is very little structure in the rear, near the rear seats edge, so I would say you need the frame as high-lighted in Blue. I have fitted a sliding floor to mine with a hatch to access this wasted space. Which takes a much bigger aux battery. Good Luck |

Those are both identical to the one I listed from Hunters (they all come from the same place in China) but are £35 more expensive Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Kielder 4x4 Safari Instagram @defender_v8 |

Click image to enlarge When you remove the foam infill this is what you have . Click image to enlarge This is what I did, whole cavity is under the wood floor with trap for access. The sliding floor has to be 'out' to gain this access. Last edited by LR Nuts on 30th Sep 2023 6:18pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Unfortunately, this doesn't really work for what I have in mind, as it sacrifices a lot of space. I'm hoping to remove the foam insert and take advantage of all of the space under it, specially since I have a V8 that does not have the hybrid battery system installed taking up space in that area.
Thank you very much for this. Having to use the forward skeleton to install the rear system won't work for my car, because I need the rear seats to remain, so unfortunately this appears to be a dead end for me. Perhaps others can take advantage of it.
This is what the V8 looks like in the back. No hybrid battery and tons of space. Just need to find a way to create a tray to fit a scecond battery, DC to DC charger, Inverter and mount it in a clean way. |
