 Click image to enlarge If you mean this one, I'm not really sure, mine doesn't have a button there  As well as the handbrake release there is a knob for dimming the instrument lights. It's hard to tell but is that a rocker switch? Does it have any extra lights fitted?
According to the Iguide there is also a Fuel Filler Flap Lock on PHEV but you mentioned it's a D300

That switch can be for the front fog lamps, if fitted as an after market by dealer or previous owner.
