Snorkel?
Which one is the easiest to fit? Done loads of 200 and 300tdis but not a Puma yet?

I opted for a Mantec raised air intake, because I liked the classic look but this version is plastic so won't rust.

It used the existing screw holes in the wing, so no drilling necessary, except into the windscreen frame.

I didn't change anything under the bonnet, so I won't be going snorkelling in it!

It was an easy job to fit it.

Hi

Sorry to hi jack your thread....

Does anyone know of a snorkel that mounts using 4 holes on the side (instead of the front) of the windscreen frame?

I have 4 holes fitted with screw grommets and my OCD is suffering!

Thanks Camelman Thumbs Up

Yeah also the po fitted what looks to be an original high air intake on my Td5 and it limits the wing of the RH (in my case passenger door) to it will no longer stay latched open as the mirror arm hits the snorkel.

I was looking at repositioning or shortening the arm so that it latches at a lesser angle.

The Mantec was very easy to fit but no way I'm going to drill into that flimsy windscreen frame.
I fixed it to an aluminium square tube with brackets under the "hinge" block and the rain gutter.
Never had an issue even on very bad offroad tracks.
