Salisbury Rear Axle Hub with ABS
Hi guys,
I have been searching for the Rear Axle Hub with ABS for Defender TD5 2002 with a Salisbury rear axle without success, could not even find a part number.
AFAIK the Defenders with Salisbury rear axles where not fitted with ABS (however seen contradictory posts here), probably that is why I can't find any parts number. Probably I have to search on the Discovery lists.
Anyone got any reference for the Rear Axle Hub with the famous ABS "hole" that would fit a Defender TD5 with Salisbury Rear Axle?

thx
Olivier

After some additional research.
It seems that starting MY99, there is no differenciation between Rear Hun Axles for Salisbury and Rover types.
So the correct part number would be FTC3188.

Would be great if anybody could confirm.
Thx

I am fairly sure that there are different parts/numbers for salisbury vs P38/Rover axles. See here - https://www.lrworkshop.com/diagrams/land-r...0456_52628

I can't remember if the bolt patterns are the same between the two stub axles, but they are quite different in profile. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread

FTC3188 is the correct number for late salisbury axles with ABS sensor casting. I went through this pain myself last year when trying to replace my stub axles.

I even added the comment on LR workshop noting that FTC1740 was not the correct part for later ABS axles.
