For the Llams height controller contact Graeme Small in Australia.
kits@llams.com.au I did pay last year Aus $ 575,- including shipping. Excluding customs and VAT. Don't know his pricing at this time. What I don’t understand with all the LLAMS and rods, can you really lift the car higher than the LR extended mode? Is there a real lift to the stock system or is it just about control?

In theory you can use rods or the Llams to go all the way to the limits of suspension travel, so far beyond the OEM extended height. Both fool the EAS ECU into thinking the suspension is lower or higher at rest than stock, so the ECU adjusts to compensate. The rods do it mechanically with a shorter or longer link rod whereas the Llams is plugged in between the EAS ECU connector and the ECU itself, providing a flase reading electronically.
The IIDTool reprograms the base settings of the suspension to provide a lift (or lowering). You can save 3 different height settings for different situations. It's not as quick as the Llams which only requires a twist of a button (the IIDTool takes about 30-40 sec) but, in the case of a problem with the air suspension, the IIDTool will allow manual control of the air suspension - even with a so called "hard fault" where the car lowers itself to the bump stops for safety reasons. Ask us how this all came to be RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s, 2 FL1s and a L663 on the way |
