The 'ring' is part of the the CV joint the sensor can be seen entering through the top of the swivel pin. Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest

Hi does that mean there are abs specific cv joints? Couldn‘t find any reference on lrworkshop. Or is that „ring“ in all cv-joints?

Simply any Land rover which could run ABS would run a TDJ000010 CV If you had a defender / disco / range rover classic from like 1995> then ABS or not then it didn't matter you had the ring machined onto the CV to save costs / confusion.
