The trailer socket bracket on the 2008 Puma broke, well really disintegrated, due to rust. I made a replacement from a zinc sheet I had in the shed. Nothing fancy but it'll do the job

Would you consider relocating it to the crossmember recess above? > 110 XS Double Cab

Possible I suppose but it was easier fixed as it was. The old bracket just rusted away. It is the standard Land Rover unit that plugs into the power above the rear member driver's side. There is just enough wiring to reach where it is now. To put it in the rear cross member hole I would need to cut the wiring to extend it to the hole. Easier to fix it in place where it was. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Yes that is a very nice inexpensive fix. As mine is zinc it will no doubt last me my time! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

On my adjustable tow bar set up, the slider plate wraps around the fixed plate so I would not be able to do this. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
