Looking to order my tyres today and not sure what they will look like on the rig so need ideas... Can you put if you are using spacers and what size too... Cheers ! |

You guys running 265 /285's, do you inform your insurance company ?, they are not a factory fit size and I just wonder about the insurance implication. Richard

IIRC 265/75s are (or used to be) a factory fit option, so I probably wouldn't. 285/75s have never been an option, so yes, definitely tell insurance company. I take the (possibly cynical) view that insurance companies will use any excuse to try to avoid paying anything, so I tell them everything and keep copies of the correspondence. It is surprising and depressing sometimes how little they know - for many years I had my S1 insured with a now-defunct specialist 4x4 insurer, who asked, when informed of the front and rear Air Lockers fitted in the vehicle "what are locking differentials and do they increase the performance of the vehicle". I rather hoped they would know, as 4x4 specialists! |

Almost certain 265"s have never been an option on 110's, only on 90's. Richard Either a 90, 110 or 130. Discovery 5 |
