Not personally but it's quite common. Any lift will change the angle the UJ has to work at, castor corrected radius arms can help re-align things but double cardons are often needed.
Have you fitted castor corrected arms as part of the lift? |

They were fitted at the same time as the 2" lift - QT's with a 3 degree correction, which from what I gather makes matters worse on the front which is why I have had to go for the double cardon front prop I think a wide angle rear should sort out the vibration from the rear and this has been mentioned by Cheviot 4x4 as well as Devon 4x4 - so more spare parts on the garage floor |

Spoke too soon the rear UJ of the front prop has gone. Replaced with a wide angel prop from Devon 4x4 about £130. |

Hi Andrew, When I took the front prop off you could see that the joints were rubbing so whilst I think the wide angle will help you may still need a double cardon prop. Hows the Bell remap doing? He did mine about a week ago and mentioned it was the same as yours - much more torque but somewhat more thirsty now |

if you have castor corrected arms you will need the DC front prop as the diff is corrected ie closer to horizontal so the prop has a greater angle to work through when compared to running with std arms and NO caster correction where the diff will be nose up and hence a smaller angle for the prop to work through.
Plus 2" on the rear i would have thought would be OK with prop IF the shocks are with std mounting points and only +2". Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Hi; I`m new here. I was on the move to do the 2" lift considering already the change of the front prop. But, I`m surprised to know that also the rear prop has to be changed as well! cheers MK |

Its something to do with the fact that the TDCi engine and gearbox are mounted further back which means the rear prop is shorter thereby making the angles more acute Wish I had stayed with the standard suspension now |

I lifted the suspension once and i vowed then NEVER again - i couldnt see the point and the additional grief
So my suspension upgrades are only ever HD suspension and gas dampers. I also learnt the hardway with buying aftermarket HD rear disco springs - never again, genuine HD springs for me - the HD's lasted HD like for about a year before becoming Stds Mike |

I have a 2 " OME kit and had the same bearing noise so devon supplyed a DC prop and curred the problem but my steering has gone a little sensative cant say what exactly but im going to try the castor correction to see if it sorts that .
I still have the same vibration noise coming from the rear maybe I need a rear prop now do I |

It is that- have you tried having it aligned since the lift? If not, it is a good idea to do this- won't take it away completely but makes it bareable. Glyn |
