Anyone fitted a Momo Quark steering wheel?
I fancy upgrading my faded browning standard TD5 wheel for somethign nicer to use, but not sure I want to stretch to the Momo Nero.

The Quark can be had for £98, plus a boss.

Views?

Momo Nero for comparison:

What sort of size difference is there between these and the standard wheel? Not sure I'd like too small either much... $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Personally think the Nero is a lot better looking than the Quark. I've toyed with the idea of fitting a Nero a few times, but still unsure. I like having a 'proper' Land Rover steering wheel, even though I bang my knees on it fairly regularly. Not sure what the obsession is with flat-bottomed steering wheels at the moment, I hate the look and feel of them. I think it's to do with their 'sporting' connotations. Been looking at Mk6 Golf Gti's recently, but the flat bottomed wheel is putting me off. BMW's chunky sports wheels are a lot more appealing. But I'm a bit of a v-dub man at heart. Sorry - gone slightly OT there! 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

That's a good question too. My main worry is the smaller the wheel the more sensitive the steering will be. When I say a worry not really as such but wouldn't want it to be too sensitive if you know what I mean. Main issue with the standard one is when parking ect it's like trying to part a double decker bus. And it's not due to the steering lock either it's the wheel.. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I've got a Raid 360mm steering wheel on the 110 and if anything it makes the steering less sensitive.

No problems seeing any of the instruments, warning lights etc.

Have read about the Star Tech but they ARE pricey, about 440 euros. Looks nice mind, but then if I was spending that sort of money I;d just go for the nero.

As mine is a 48 spline I did think about a Range Rover L322 wheel, minus airbags etc, but you could wire up the heating element and horn if you wanted it to be clever, as they are also 48 spline.

Plus, it comes with a Land Rover badge on it already! 2016 D4 HSE

I also have the 48 spline steering column and I have fitter a MOMO Race with an Alive Tuning boss.

It looks great and once I got used to the smaller size it makes a big difference to driving, I can post some pictures if you like?
