Cruise Control cutting out after new gearbox
I successfully installed cruise control to my 2006 TD5 last year and all has been well...until my gearbox was replaced recently. R380 and now with the v8 5th ratio.

I did wonder if that would break it but its odd, it engages and cruises for a while and then cuts out? Is that likely a different issue?!

Any ideas would be greatfully recieved! I am not sure if the 5th ratio would require a speedohealer thing.

Cheers!

Exactly the same issue with my TD5 110 after fitting a recon gearbox with the V8 5th gear ratio. I fitted a speedo healer and it's been faultless since then. A bit more info here:
