Hi, as you can see, it fits. The Wheel is a bit smaller but it doesn't disturb me.

It’s a shame they are not big enough to cover a 255/85r16 shod with a BFG MT as that’s a 33inch diameter.

You can still get a cover for 255/85, I have a soft one.
The trouble is with rigid ones, is they are prone to getting scratched or damaged. You could argue all paintwork is, but as the rear wheel is relatively large, it is opened and closed on a regular basis and if you carry cargo a lot, that’d even more of a possibility of accidental damage. Then there is the potential for flex, causing damage to the plastic or paint. Back when I had 235 tyre some time ago, I had a ridged cover and the above was an issue, not so much if they aren’t glossy. After that I went to 255 tyres, then four it difficult to find a cover, so went for a soft one as it’s more robust. That’s just my view of course, but the rigid ones do indeed look nice but are a bit more vulnerable. Chillin In The Backwoods🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
