I've been using one of these ever since I fitted the Optimill unit and found that the supplied camera didn't work at all. It does however use a different connector.
I wouldn't exactly call it a great camera, and unfortunately it has those irritating lines automatically superimposed on the image to guide you into spaces, which don't help at all on a Defender since the camera is offset to the nearside. It does the job though and wasn't expensive. If anyone knows of a similar alternative that doesn't superimpose the pointless guidelines in the image I would be grateful for a link. |

Yep, mine gave out within months of owning it, it was too much of a fuss to send it back etc. There are heaps on Amazon available, quite cheap too, I got one for around $80AUD. Nice. I am looking for an AHD cam. Did that one pop out of the housing and have a swivel ball with spring clips like the original?
