Sleeping solution with 4 seats - Ideas?
Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a sleeping solution for my 110 TD4 that allows me to use the rear row of seats in full (I need a total of 4 seats).
Is there anyone who has a CAD drawing available or could draw one?

Or is there perhaps a ready-made system that can be installed?

It should be a foldable solution.

Currently, I have an Oryx built-in cabinet on the left and a wheel arch box on the right, but I could take them out for a new system.

Thanks for your help.

Do you mean you are carry 4 passenger and want some to sleep in back off 110 and some outside?

If so a roof tent or awning attached to boot I think would be the only option?

I have a roof tent but I also need two sleeping places inside. It is important that I don't lose the rear row of seats, as I need at least 4 seats in total.

So the inside seats almost need to act like a VW camper (rock and roll bed) and Seats when your driving and fold completely flat when not to make a bed...

Unsure its doable (keeping your insurance valid) by modification to the seat / base etc

I think a solution as shown in the following pictures would be perfect. Does anybody knows if there are any CAD drawings available for such kind of modification?

CAD? Surely a tape measure and about 2 mins would do it?

Are you sure there is enough room for people to sleep there? Are you talking adults or children?

EXTEC in Germany do sell it for the tdci. It's based on the rear seats that offer a good platform if in horizontal position.

I have a similar solution but I never use it. I prefer sleeping on the roof where I can leave everyting in the tent (AUTOHOME overzone)

If you just fold the seats in horizontal position you have a bed 80 cm x 170 cm (5 1/2 ft x 2 1/2 ft).
