What are the differences between a hard top and a utility?
OK it's probably a stupid question but apart from the extra doors and seats are there any other differences between the new HT and the utility wagon? Can I legally add an extra rear seat to the hard top? And finally, am I right in thinking that the 2014 off road pack is no more as ABS is now a std feature?

Thanks in advance

oh, one more thing, if I bought a new LR and immediately changed the diffs to Ashcroft lockers, would this affect the warranty and what would be the resale value of the LR diffs? 1990 Defender 300TDi

the main difference is that that HT has a center bulkhead inside. I assume we are talking 110 here.

The HT usually doesn't come with the alpine windows and rear headlining and side trim panels. You will still get the rear door trim.

You will not get the plastic speaker trim in the rear, instead it will be a metal cover.

You will usually not get the rear quater window, depending on the 'luck of the draw'. From the land of the most expensive land rover defenders on planet earth. At 125k for a XS 110 csw and you get to own it only for 10yrs! Please find me a good reason to stay on this island.

I would have thought that the wheel boxes in the HT would be square, they are shaped in the USW.

The suspension option may be slightly different (HT my have heavy duty)

There is trim in the back of the USW ( the same trim as a standard SW) Russell
