110 footwell heater duct modification?
Hi all,

Has anyone managed a successful modification to get heater air to blow out in middle row footwell?

I was sure I came across something before but searched everywhere so must have dreamt it.

TIA

I've pondered this for a while as well and short of cutting into the lower dash the only other way I thought of was to some how duct from the knee vents and come along the transmission tunnel.

Mine is a TD5. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Interested in this,

The lower duct near the bottom of gear stick doesn't half pump out heat once warm...

I'm thinking a bit like my Series 1 some ducting and outlets each side of the arm rest could work?

This idea but smaller diameter,

Then run each pipe either side of the cubby (or inside) so the vents face each passenger.

Its how you secure the front end to retain the heat.

Not sure if a TD5 has enough waft in the motor to push the warm air all the way into the rear, might need some inline fan to assist.

A Puma might be different. 1999 Defender TD5 110
