Back in July, when we were in the buying process which ultimately led to the Defender, my wife and I test drove an F-pace SVR. What a magnificent vehicle. The sound it made when you mashed the pedal ... *chefs kiss*. It just didn't have enough room for us (neither does the Defender but alas, we make it work) to seriously consider - and my 6'6" 265lbs frame didn't fit comfortably in it.

Boy did I dodge a bullet there. I'd be absolutely mortified if I owned a Jag right now. I saw a video where it was reported that the ad was the work of over 800 people at JLR, and not a single one of them was like "hey, am I the only one...?"

Let me put it to these marketing gurus. I have money. I like nice, high quality things. I have absolutely no guilt over who I am or what I've achieved in life and have no qualms about "flaunting it". What you've just portrayed as your "statement of intent" is making me run, hair on fire, away from your brand at a pace that could only be met by your Supercharged V8.
