How about extreme low temp screenwash? Has that been covered?, plus releasing wipers from glass if frozen before use.

I've wondered about seat warmers... Obv if you have heated seats then thats a bonus.
Options could be: 1. Remove seats and replace with heated seat versions - involves expense of sourcing seats, then some time to wire them in. 2. Remove current seats, open them up and install heated pads - involves expense of pads, time and care needed to remove covers (I guess), then time to wire them in. 3. Cheapo Amazon or middle of aisle seat warming covers that plug into 12v sockets - no idea how good these are, also they aren't that much cheaper than heating pads... Last year I met a French surfer dude who was travelling around Europe in an ex military soft top Peugeot P4. I asked him how he kept warm in winter and he showed me a couple of heated blankets. Iโm still not sure whether it was a genius idea or if cold water surfing makes you immune to bad weather. WARNING.

You could use heated seats plus a heated 12v blanket powered from the 12v socket.
The only thing is heat rises, but Mylar foil film is great as well along with these sort of things as itโs heat reflecting and keeps heat in and cold out by reflecting it. Itโs typically sold as foil emergency blankets, so is good for to keep them and they are cheap anyway. Thatโs on top of they can be cut up for EMI blocking as well if you wanted that but thatโs a different subject. I think your over thinking this cold thing with heated gas bottle warmers and blankets. Conserve the vehicle batteries, keep them warm, coolant pads for example, and have a way o preheating engine and aux cab heater. Coolant rads or air heater. Cheers

Iโd be very cautious of any electrical warmers near gas bottles anyway, if there was an electrical short that could be very dangerous indeed. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I would love to do a trip like this, but I think I would definitely be staying indoors with a log fire and a nice glass of wine and some venison. But having been to Norway over a decade ago, I know it would be eye wateringly expensive doing it that way.

Heated seats are more for the wife really. I run on hot most of the time anyway, and a cold backside isn't overly a bother to me, but she can get cold and if she decides she doesn't want to do much driving then it at least will make it more comfortable for her.
