Steel wheels, what wheel nuts?
Are there different wheel nuts for the new Defender steel wheels, or do they use the same nuts as the alloys? Thanks.

Thanks. Do you have a link or part number at all? Keep getting hits for a traditional Defender which is a different bolt size I think.

l can sell you a set of nuts for the steel wheels, taken off a new Defender, complete with the locking nut/keys and centre caps as well if you want them.
For a lot less than Land Rover will charge you.

I bought mine from powerful Uk, as above they ain’t cheap. Same with the plastic hub caps they are a bit steep for what they are. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I think I Have paid in the region of 190 quid for the full OEM set!
However I have bought some aftermarket nuts as well to compare ( 35 quid the full set).
If you compare them you immediately notice the lips of the OEM nuts is double the size.
That lips holds on to the wheel. The design of the OEM feels more reassuring. If you don’t compare them you will not notice it.
I am not engineer and despite I am sure they are overpriced considering the Value of the Defender, 150 quid difference is really not worth to save.
If someone with more knowledge could shine a light on this… we might save 150quid next time…
