United Kingdom 2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Santorini Black
Immobilizer queation
I have a puma 2.2 with an aftermarket alarm

Recently the alarm has stopped disarming the puma immobilizer. A recent visit to a garage they were reluctant to start digging around the aftermarket alarm and recommended carrying the puma fob and the aftermarket fob.

So now I have 2 fobs for the car which is a pain.

Is there a way to disable the puma immobilizer as my aftermarket alarm has it's own immobilizer cutting the power to the car completely instead

Thanks

Yes, it can be done but requires ECM changes. I suggest having a word with Pete Bell at BAS.

Ah thanks. I have a bas stage 2 remap. Assuming this can be done with bas's help using the bas tool I have?

As per Blackwolfs advice. Pete at BAS or Ian at IRB developments can map out the std LR immobiliser.
