HELP - Should there be a bolt in here?

Hi All, I was looking under my 2011 2.4 Defender 90 and saw what looked like a missing bolt? Should there be a bolt and/or bushing from this mid-engine bracket up to the transmission housing? The picture should provide the info but if you need anything else, please ask.

We’ve all done it. You’re right of passage into Puma ownership has begun. No, no bolt goes there, it’s some cruel trick by LR to keep forums and Facebook groups busy. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I shall look forward to Blackwolf’s response to this one. Rolling with laughter

But yes, as stated above it has little purpose and nothing is missing.

My guess is it maybe used for alignment when the trans is being fitted as a dead centre point just for a temporary fixing, or just by eye, as it aligns but no fixing should be there permanently.

So there is peace of mind nothing has fallen off. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Actually served me a purpose.... to rest the gearbox when need to replace the gearbox output shaft... which is very common on the Puma Defenders Sad

ha ha, I can't believe I found this question on the forum, which I asked myself and which generated a complaint to the previous owner of my truck, I claimed that I had ever lowered the bed. He swore to me that I hadn't... I felt very stupid after discovering that there was nothing strange there...
