United Kingdom 2003 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Epsom Green
Which fuel filter housing suggestions please.
I daren’t replace my fuel filter as fear my housing is quite corroded.
So will buy a replacement housing first.

Can’t see many options - any suggestions for my2005 model?
I recall a company called Gore did a good looking aftermarket one but can’t find this anymore.

Any sugggestions for a 2005 Td5 welcomed.

Thanks

Rob

I saw the other day Turner is selling a replacement

Did not look elsewhere, just came across it as I was shopping for something else.

Laughing why? Probably already gone porus and if it hasn't will rot away soon enough.

Either an OEM replacement which should last you 10 years or get the pioneer that will likely outlast the life of the car. Instagram @defender_ventures

A belated thanks all for your valued replies.

Like the look of the pioneer offer, but they don’t do the pipe connectors so would
have to look to source those independently, but no joy with that as yet.

Gobsmacked that the part from Landrover was quoted me as £432.

Cheers

I was quoted similar a while back. Didn't want a copy so bought a genuine one from a scraper one front ended def. £40. Been fine since.

I do have a 2nd hand one here from m57 conversion. Cheers

Puma filter housings are different to the Td5 as the puma ones are plastic.

I’ve fitted a few Pioneer ones and they are good quality and won’t corrode like the original.
I fitted one to a 90 this week in fact

Also the unions screwed in it are brass and will come out no problem.

You can buy the valves in them separately

VUB503950 Make sure it comes with the red duck bill non return valve

WJN500110 Air bleed valve
