Hello,
my Defender 1997 TDI300 110 from UK is missing screw at the bottom of the engine. I am unable to find it in catalog part. I presume its hole to check oil level but its not Oil Sump Bolt screw. Can anybody help me identify part number? ![]() Click image to enlarge Thank you a lot. Jan |

It's a good idea to once in a while look into this hole and look for black fibres.
This will give you a indication if the timing belt is chafing itself to destruction. Only install plug when you are going to be wading. |
