I just have the LOF spring, not the other items, but I had occasional pedal sticking down issues after fitting it. LOF advised me adjust the limit screw on the pedal box to stop the pedal going as far. Much better after that. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Thanks and apologies if my post was misleading, I just have OEM parts other than the spring.
The only adjustment I have is the top travel, no downward travel stop Click image to enlarge |

I'm sure that's what I adjusted. It was a long time now. If you message LOF with a photo they might clarify. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I've always been a bit confused by the instructions in the manual about the bolt and lock nut on the pedal box..
Its a while ago now but I remember mine has a bolt and lock nut low down on the pedal box and I'm as sure as I can be that it's only function is to limit the downward stroke of the pedal.. It played no part In adjusting the clutch pedal in any other way.. Yet some vehicles have the similar bolt and lock nut maybe positioned a bit higher on the pedal box that does play some part in clutch pedal adjustment as described in the manuals I've looked at.. Mine is a late 2015 model.. |
