Land Rover online data subscription
lt looks like the subscription has run out on my vehicle. But there's no option to renew it. lt's asking me if l was to renew the tracker subscription (if you click on it, you're directed to a renewal screen) but nothing for the data plan. How do l renew the subscription?
The page on the app just tells you about it with no link to actually do anything.

As nobody seemed to know l went in to the dealer today and it's not due for renewal, until the vehicle is three years old.

When it's due to expire l will get a warning on the app. But l've another 15 months yet.

You probably wouldn’t until your car gets stolen.
Secure tracker would inform you and the anti theft service from Land Rover that your car is moving without using a key.

But do you really want this service? I would rather have my insurance get me a new Defender than recover the one that has been messed with…

l've not renewed the tracker as it was £400 for two years and my insurance company don't need it to be active.

The journey log on the app is working l guess that means the data SIM is still active. So l could still track the vehicle

But like l said, l went to the dealer today and they told me it was active for three years before l need to pay to renew it.

And when it is close to renewal the app will tell me.

Lightening, I think your dealer is wrong. I have put a post on the Facebook group about this. Last month I got an email about the data pack expiring , my car was coming up to 2 years old. I put a question out and nobody knew the answer. I rang LR incontrol customer services and spoke to a lady who had had numerous calls about this so knew the answer. It seems that the data plan only lasts 12 months on a new vehicle, but due to renewal problems that LR were having it had taken a while to sort out the renewal process. This meant that some people had ended up getting 3 years service for free. The problem has now been sorted so that’s why people were now receiving renewal notices on various age vehicles. If you’ve had the email then the plan will expire on the date given . Hope this helps 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar
