Newbie

I thought I would introduce myself. So I have just ordered a Defender 350d HSE X Dynamic in Black.
I'm told 3-6 months for delivery, what have others on here experienced? This is my first Land Rover so I'm looking forward to getting behind the wheel. I have been a beemer man upto now. Coming out of a BMW X4 M40d.

When you ordered did they give you a build sheet with your potential build date?

That's what I received last year when I placed my order.
Ordered in April
Received in August

When I ordered I was modifying a dealer allocated vehicle to be what I wanted, maybe that's why it had a date associated, but I'd assume they could be a little more precise than 3-6 months. It's manufacturing, it's a pretty planned out process.

We ordered a Defender 90 D350 end of May and received a build date of 16/07/2024 with delivery to dealer 16/08/2024. We wanted new 74 reg so dealer moved build date to 26/07/2024 with delivery to dealer on 30/08/2024.

Checked my paperwork and it says estimated 31st October
