Allisport Puma 2.4L - Silicone Hose Kit - ASH18-BK

Hello all!

Search didn’t have any findings. I’ve reached out to Allisport but no luck currently. Has anyone installed the Allisport hose kit ASH18-BKI ? I’ve recently purchased this Puma 2.4L kit and haven’t had any luck on identifying this hose? (See attached)
I’ve referred to the factory exploded view of the hose system and nothing looks correct including the hose below the rad itself.

Would appreciate any insight.

Cheers.

I don't know the 2.4 but did a 2.2with silicone hoses, and it was a tedious job making sure I replaced the hoses correctly..
I'd say the hose you have highlighted is one off one side of the egr cooler...🤔
My kit was a 24 hose kit and I found I was one hose short to replace every hose..
The company eventually accepted my point after trying to say the missing hose wasn't part of the kit😩

Thank you for the reply. I’ll take another look when I get home from work. Could I ask what kit you used? I’m finding that this kit may not have everything I expected within it. Working through this now with the supplier.

Cheers

My kit came from Roose motorsports..
As I said not completely without an issue but they resolved it fairly quickly to be fair..
My suggestion as to your hose location is only an educated guess..
You don't appear to have to have as many hoses as the full kit for a 2.2..

I don't see any oil cooler hoses in the diag and the ancillary hoses on the 2.2 are linked to the various parts by external plsstic Y or T pieces....
Edit... I don't have a fuel cooler

I've just changed my EGR valve on a 2.2, and saw this hose.

Not sure if this is the same as on a 2.4, but this hose goes to the bottom of the EGR valve, and I don't see it in your diagram.

Hope that helps.

Just following up this thread up. Thanks gents, yes, it was the EGR hose. My hose kit was a bit of a mix up with part A and B packages. I was missing a box of hoses but all were shipped eventually. Ultimately even in the end, I was still missing a few hoses heater hoses up by the selector switch which apparently are not included due to the different defender variants out there I was told. Although accommodating, there wasn’t any options available. I reached out the Paul at Roose Motorsports for help. Even though my kit wasn’t from him, Paul and his staff were amazing to deal with and were able to supply me the hoses that weren’t included in my kit.

Thanks for everyone’s help! [/b]
