Streaks on window when winding down and up.

Hi all, I've got a defender which I just picked up at the beginning of June. When ever I wind the window down and then up I get these streaks on the the driver's side window. They were less evident after a few hot days a few weeks ago, but are back again. Any tips before I take it in to be looked at?

Thanks

Thanks for the tip. I've done this with a microfiber cloth and wrapped around a card. It was black but hasn't really helped.

It could be silicone coming from the rubber. Try cleaning the rubber with a panel wipe or a strong detergent solution. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..
