Big day today
I had a shower today. No one got married or it is not yet Christmas. You see I did an oil/filter change on the LR88. Doing the oil filter while lying on the ground..... 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

No , I was a serious mess! I am wondering if I look after things well enough, this shower might do until the afore mentioned Christmas Whistle
I just find doing the oil filter a little awkward lying underneath the Land Rover, but it does make you appreciate how solidly built the vehicle is. Probably something newer car owners will never get to see! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

When changing the oil filter it is best to strip off and wrap your whole body in several layers of clingfilm cover your head with a bathing cap and cover your face with a diving mask. Eliminates the need for a shower once the job has been completed. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Trouble with that is if the wife help me put it on and declined to help me get it off I'd be in a rather awkward predicament. I would not even be able to come on here and type for assistance!
I am thinking of changing the filter unit for one that takes the spin on type.
A refurbished unit on EBAY listed here.
