I was in an agri supply place and they were thinking of having a sale to celebrate the fact that the "GREEN" lost seats in the recent elections! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Travelling in rural England this last week, I've been surprised how many 'Vote Green' signs I've seen. I thought it was just for townies.

I don't believe it's fair to single out any demographic based on things they cannot change (age, skin colour etc), but I suspect many countryside greenies to be the ones that are probably above the average UK age, have probably done quite well for themselves in job roles which have had very little to do with the countryside and I suspect in some cases, in the detriment to the environment, who have decided to move to the countryside for "the better life".
I'll apologise in advance to anyone that might take umbrage to my assumption, it's not really based on any tangible facts/data, just more observations and a few people I have met who fall into that category. One thing that they have going for them is that they know who they want to vote for... at this stage I think I might write my own name on the sheet and vote for myself... and even then, I'm not sure I'd trust me to do a decent job of playing politics either The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/@YetitheDefender Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/yetithedefender/ |
