The diagrams show a washer under the bolt and the notes for the part explain that they're used to up KA (1993). https://www.lrworkshop.com/diagrams/land-r...cs_52911#3 A lot of the pre-puma diagrams span 87 to 06 variations in one diagram. So it does! That’s presumably where the confusion arose. It’s an ‘83 vehicle so the bolt/washer arrangement might have been correct, however the new brakes kit came with flanged bolts. So the “mechanic” had used more parts than required. Charlie
