LR switched the switches
This weekend at the Malvern show I spoke with a guy who had a L663 first Edition, he said the air-suspension switches (in the boot) were different, left/right up/down

well here are the photos that proves he was right.

First Edition switches.

Later build.

WHY ???

Unless they used other 'Discovery' / RR switches for First Edition and 'later builds' got the update ??

l can't see your pictures but it's not unusual for manufacturers to change things during production, there's a few reasons for doing so.

They also changed the position of the interior tailgate release button on the Commercial version. lt could be just that they changed to a different manufacturer for the switches. A lot of things changed in Covid, some component manufacturers went out of business and there were various shortages.

MY23.5 with first edition switches here. Used it to great effect on the weekend to hook up the van. Lower to get under the hitch, then up to engage. Simples.

Yep, also MY23.5 with the first edition ones.

I do find I use the 'LOWER' button more than I use the 'HIGHER' button. I don't tow so it's very rare I ever need to tell it to raise the level.

Maybe it made more sense to have the lower button closer to the user?
