Location of French autoroute tag
Has anyone fitted the French autoroute tag to the L663 and where is the best location? The instructions say to place it on the mottled area but this is covered by the plastic rear view mirror and other gubbins placement - though there is a thin mottled strip extending to both sides of this at the top of the screen .
I think I have the solar attenuating screen.

I’ve fitted mine to the left of the gubbins along with the dash cam.
I haven’t used it yet but it’s a very similar position to the one fitted in my FFRR.

Last year, my mate travelling down through France with myself and another friend broke down, so had to make do with a hire car. He just dropped his Fulli tag in the central cup holder, and held it up as he came up to the toll, it worked every time 👍

The toll booth gates seem to have the receivers on the left hand side next to the barriers (or overhead gantry), so I think the best bet is to the left of the windscreen gubbins. Mines pictured without the tag - just the windscreen attachment. Small white square up on the right.
I will be testing at the end of May, so will watch this thread and update if I go before you guys.

Thanks, I’ll place it there and see if it works ok. I’m travelling in a week so I’ll soon know. If not I’ll use the window !

Mine is in exactly the same place. I regularly travel through France and have never had any issues. Thumbs Up Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Worked perfectly today on the autoroute. Much better than faffing around , jumping out of the car , presenting the card and then jumping back in ! Just sail through .

Yep, I just got back from 2 weeks and almost 2000 miles in France.
No issues with the Tag at all - I enjoyed the 30kmh lanes - but did have to watch out for the occasional height restricted lane.

By the way - I'd forgotten how brilliant the roads were. Bar the horrible rush hour traffic near big cities, the french know how to make a good road and the motorway lane etiquette is far better than the brits.
