The best thing I have done to my Landy, so much more relaxed driving... supposed to be better off road, but I haven't tried that yet. I have a Stage 2 tune, that helps, with cruise control, happily sits at 70 mph on the motorway. Bit far for you, but Ashcroft did my conversion, looks factory... I'm sure you could get someone local to fit heir kit... recommend the larger torque converter. Enjoy! |

My opinion is that it is without doubt the best modification to a defender which will transform the vehicle both on and off road, especially with some engine power upgrades at the same time.

I second that. M57 with an auto box is the way forward. 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X
