On top of the dynamat on the door, but you’ll need to make sure you can keep the door card sitting flush around the door handles. (A bit of dynamat on a lower section of the door card might be worthwhile).
It’s not too much involved with that, Some brake cleaner in a well ventilated place and brand new microfibre cloths are ideal for pre clean up. Or you can use rubbing alcohol, obviously beware of making sure there is no source of ignition during that proces…
While you are in there, it’d pay to clean and relube with a little silicone grease the door mechanisms and electric window mechanisms.
Basically any mechanical items in the doors if you have them, once the dynamat job is done.
Makes the central locking system work much better and smoother, and the electric windows as well.
Much better once done, and an ideal time to do it, it only needs doing once in a blue moon like the windscreen wiper wheel box and rack greasing so is well worth doing.
I was surprised how nicely it all worked, much smoother and that is useful with the Dynamat as well every little helps. No Guts, No Glory.
