The ongoing chassis replacement questions :shock:
Hi - In the process of removing everything from the old rotten chassis on my Puma 90 , the main wiring loom runs through the drivers side chassis box section - is it possible to pull this out without removing the connectors at one end ?. Being 15 years old the loom is quite stiff now and I dont really want to pull it too hard for fear of more damage.

Pull out to the back with the connectors taped back to the harness, getting it back in the new chassis is the reverse but a whole lot harder!

Like he said. I use brake pipe to fish up the chassis to pull it through.

After chasis repair I have always placed the wiring harness on top of the chasis rail, not inside. There is enough space.
The wiring harness was placed inside of the chassis fully made, with connectors. Just imagine the proces of final car manufacturing. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile
