As mentioned on another thread, some pictures of my heater installed.

Under bonnet fuel tank as I didn't want to break into 25 year old fuel pipes
The fuel pump is mounted to the inner wing.

Clear fuel pipe runs from here along the chassis leg, across the middle x-member and along the inner sill and up to the heater. The heater has a short length of rubber hose to make attaching the fuel pipe to rubber hose easier

I chose the passenger side to keep the heater exhaust away from the original fuel pipes plus on the drivers side rear seat I keep my winch control and spare gloves along with 1st aid kit and eye wash

Heat output is via a metal tube into a swivel vent - this needs reattaching to the seat frame (but this does stop the tilting of the seat frame without removing the tube first.

Air intake is facing towards the door and sort of recycles the warm air to save heating cold air from outside.

The combustion intake is hiding behind this removable panel and has an airfilter. The filter head rests on top of the chassis rail and is cable tied in place.

TD5 in tank fuel pump has provision for Webasto fuel pick-up. If you have hatch to look onto the pump in car, you can add needle in tank without disconnecting fuel lines.
Do you have some muffler on the heater exhaust? "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

I don't have a hatch to get to the fuel tank.

No silencer/muffler on the exhaust - its a straight through for that added Eberspacher exhaust note Smile 1999 Defender TD5 110

Fuel pump hatch is very usefull, especially when using car for long distance travelling. I made it to several frieds Defenders, and at least two of them used in somewhere outside to replace broken pump. They were really happy not dropping tank somewhere outside, nearly full of diesel. Spare pump (just the internal part) is small spare part, I cary during our trips. Discovery 2 has the hatch from factory.

In our Discovery 2 I have Webasto Airtop 2000, and without exhaust muffler it was a bit like small jet engine - noisy. Muffler - original from Webasto made a big difference. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

Mine sounds like a small jet plane, its not too loud but does allow me to remote monitor (by ear) from the house to make sure its working on cold mornings Smile 1999 Defender TD5 110
