I'd be happy to offer him a foster home...
![]() I get the thought process behind a Unimog, but at that price point, are you not tempted by a more modern variant? A 437 perhaps? 1985 127 V8 Build Thread Series 2 109" Series 1 80" |

Ha, thanks gents. We are lucky to find this, looked at lots but this ticks all the boxes & then some. Lots of work ahead but on hold until we ship out of Kenya July time.

Wow!
what a change in direction for you !! All the best in your new build and looking forward to seeing your progress and thoughts on what spec you go for. Henry will be a good addition to your new mog as an accompaniment rather than a replacement! Just back from Morocco and saw a lot of ‘overland lorries’ as well as landrover on tour with a wide range of build types - the choice is mind boggling !! ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 ![]() |

It’s a small world, last time I was at that campsite we were woken up at 2.00am with high winds & we had to move the Landrovers from the top ( under the trees) to the bottom main car park. Enjoy Morocco, love that country.

Small in deed!
we stayed at the bottom of the site for a couple of days as it was quite busy when we arrived - it was a lovely relaxing space after travelling. Also helps being able to walk into town. The other thing I’ve only just remembered about that campsite was that Jen almost burned the 110 down with a Coleman petrol stove! How long have you got left Gary?

Has there ever been a Unimog modified over to fitted tracks? That would be interesting. GBR
