2014 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 LXV Hard Top Santorini Black

LR066464 replacement

Hey everyone,

Got my 90 which started to emit a weird smell when car is sitting under the sun and I pinpointed it to the insulator mat which has the pedal cutouts.

Even when i wipe it with a tissue it has a reddish yellow color coming out of it and the smell is still there.

Well I checked everywhere for a new part and it seems that’s it unavailable everywhere.

Does anybody know where I can get one or something similar?

They don't make the upper footwell sound deadening section

Pretty sure these are now unavailable from LR, so unless you can find somewhere that still has new ‘old stock’ you’re probably looking at a used one - problem is they’re almost always in poor condition, having been soaked over the years from leaks and with tatty ends where they screw to the A pillar. They’re also often cut in half to aid removal

I fitted the Wright Off Road front floor mat, which does extend up the footwell to a degree, but left the original bulkhead matting out - doesn’t look out of place in my view and means any future leaks are easy to spot and deal with opposed being soaked up by the matting and rotting the bulkhead / floor panels away

Thanks for the pics!

I’ve been searching everywhere for an “old stock” but can’t seem to find it anywhere.

Seems like the solution is to remove it and clean it well. 2014 Defender LXV
